As a project during my time at the UNC Media and Journalism School, I got to work with WildSides, a documentary group who are currently creating a documentary about the endangered red wolf population in North Carolina. They needed some help with motion graphics to explain some of the trickier story points. What you see here is a compilation of three parts of one story which will be broken up throughout the documentary. It also is able to be used as a stand alone promotional piece for the documentary.
I worked in a team of three people to create this. We created a storyboard and worked with the documentary group to write an accompanying script. Next we created a style guide and all the graphics needed for the video. The section of animation that I primarily worked on is the first 40 seconds.
